I love the timeless, classic elegance of white, gold, and silver adorned Christmas trees and holiday decor. This was the first year we went with this look and it is so perfect in our family room.
I have ornaments ranging from the bargains I found at the dollar store…
…to the regular assorted balls I got at Home Depot…
…to the unique ones from Hobby Lobby and TJ Maxx…
… and then I even included some silk and glitter poinsettias and floral branches from Michaels!
Oh! I found a few of these sparkly snowflakes left on clearance already at Michaels and scooped them up. My younger daughter decided to stand on one and break the tip but with a couple dabs of E6000 glue, it’s basically good as new.
Because we do have young children running around, presents cannot go under the tree early. Instead, I was able to decorate the base of the tree with artificial white poinsettia flowers. They are absolutely every bit as beautiful as lining up the gifts there throughout the month leading up to Christmas and the best part is that the little people in our lives view this as a small barricade and have mostly left the ornaments alone…so far anyway. šš»
Success!!
