Mother’s Day is around the corner and many of us will be celebrating the special moms we are blessed to have in our lives. I wanted to share a springtime pink and purple floral dessert table with ideas for a beautiful celebration. If you’d like to see the Mother’s Day Brunch video first, here it is:
If you missed the dessert table video, you can also watch that right here:
Otherwise, if you’re coming over from that video, welcome! My hope here is to share a bit more of the behind scenes details over here. For starters, I already shared with you how I love to find beautiful and unique wrapping papers at Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores. The beautiful pink and copper cake stands were also from Home Goods. One thing I almost always use when entertaining, are floor length white table covers which you can get here:

I am also a huge fan of tiered stands, especially these positionable ones:
They are the perfect way to serve lovely, little sweets like these peach jello mousse parfaits.
The Peach Jello Cup Parfaits were inspired by this strawberry version: https://www.chelseasmessyapron.com/strawberry-jell-o-parfait-cups/ by Chelseas Messy Apron. I simply substituted and used peach jello instead and sliced peaches instead of strawberries.
For cookies, we had homemade Italian Anginette cookies.
As well as brownies and what we call “brown cookies” which are basically a softer, chewier biscotti cookie with chopped dates in them which are lightly sweetened with brown sugar and make an excellent pairing with tea or coffee.
These delightful macarons from Trader Joe’s come in the freezer section and not only make a stunning addition to a brightly colored floral sweets table, but they also come in an array of incredible flavors and are so delicious and most definitely a time saver!
The mini Pink Lemonade NO BAKE cheesecakes were not only scrumptious but super easy … and … I’ll say it again … NO BAKE! Yay!! The little plastic cups come as a 6 piece pack in Dollar Tree.
I got the recipe here from Homemade Hooplah: https://homemadehooplah.com/no-bake-pink-lemonade-cheesecake-parfaits/
Although, I should mention I omitted the food coloring and doubled the lemonade mix. I even tried a dairy free version with a dairy free cream cheese and I was pleasantly surprised with how well it turned out that way as well.
I also did chocolate covered strawberries in cupcake liners and in case you didn’t recognize the tray, it’s actually a dollar tree mirror that I painted the edges rose gold to match with the party colors.
Brownies with chocolate chips (also in cupcake liners), a chocolate cake with Grandma’s Whipped Cream Frosting…so much deliciousness.
